ImageMetrics on facial setup

this is talk by TDs from ImageMetrics (who specialize on facial animation for games and film industry).

First series of videos (7 parts) is general experience with their facial setup (mostly next-gen game level quality, but could be applied to film digi doubles work I think). Rigger TD is answering questions.

Second video (first half) is about calibration of ImageMetrics software to any facial rig they get and showing how their plugin can analyze facial performance video, identify poses and drive the rig by interpolating the calibrated poses. Quite interesting.
Second half of this video is about facial topology, discussing neck area as well (starts from 00:36).

Maya Autodesk Tutorials on Youtube

I know there are many tutorials for Maya on youtube, but they are also of different quality. Recently Autodesk started its own Maya How Tos page on youtube and there are already lots of videos. Mostly for beginners I think. I have sent this link recently to a student asking for good free tutorials source for Maya.
Nice giveaway and apart from area.autodesk another contribution to Maya community.
