Vanessa - Fizl na speedu

I`m not going too far from previous topic with another post on this blog. This one is great music video from the great czech band VANESSA "Fizl na speedu", in english "Cop on speed" (not meaning velocity ;)

U.S. lethal injection problem

It`s interesting how common problems can sometimes stop things which would otherwise hardly change. For example the dates of execution in USA prisons. These are going into longer delays as the system has a lack of the lethal drug for the injection. Now the administration is looking for an importer from Europe, but lot of countries started boycott. UK has actually legal restriction on exporting this drug.

Martin Ruizl

There`s new rigger in town! And he actually came from Prague :) Martin Ruizl has recently started in Prime Focus in London film division to work on their new project. Here is a link to his website and demoreel (really nice biped and facial setup, plus a cool vehicle rig):

CG studio map

so I have found there is this really cool google map, but for searching CG studios. Isn`t that genius? I still couldn`t find lot of them in Prague, but it might get better. Below is a screengrab of London Soho, with about 44 studios :) And this is not the final number. Nowhere else in the world is such a high density of computer animation/postproduction houses as there :)

When you`re looking for a job, this can definitely help. Still lot of studios are missing there, but it`s quite easy if you know there is a studio missing, just use ADD STUDIO button and fill in the information about it (they do some check before it`s actually added).
