U.S. lethal injection problem

It`s interesting how common problems can sometimes stop things which would otherwise hardly change. For example the dates of execution in USA prisons. These are going into longer delays as the system has a lack of the lethal drug for the injection. Now the administration is looking for an importer from Europe, but lot of countries started boycott. UK has actually legal restriction on exporting this drug.

Martin Ruizl

CG studio map

so I have found there is this really cool google map, but for searching CG studios. Isn`t that genius? I still couldn`t find lot of them in Prague, but it might get better. Below is a screengrab of London Soho, with about 44 studios :) And this is not the final number. Nowhere else in the world is such a high density of computer animation/postproduction houses as there :)

When you`re looking for a job, this can definitely help. Still lot of studios are missing there, but it`s quite easy if you know there is a studio missing, just use ADD STUDIO button and fill in the information about it (they do some check before it`s actually added).

hermite blendShape

this is a deformer plugin I made to test hermite curve interpolation. Using a single target and inbetween in this prototype. Plugin is scripted (python API). In this example I wanted to show the curve, so the jaw moves a bit more forward then usual. There is also a simple polyCube example.

Mr. Choco

here is a trailer for Mr.Choco, a short film about a kitchen chief and a charming lady. My friend Petr Marek finally finished this and also published his personal website with his animation work.
